Direct link to Operator Panel ....

We operate addonchat Professional Plus version and it has a direct Internet link to be able to login remote or access chat from the browser, without having to go through our web site. Very nice touch and effective ...

We are testing addonlivesupport and we can't fins anywhere the direct link capability for us to simply put the link into our browser for the "operator" portion and use that part, instead of having to imbed it within out web site.

The reason it's valuable to us is that if we imbed it on our vBulletin web site anywhere and any of our operators CLOSE the vBulletin page they're working on it CRASHES the browser completely.

So, a direct operator endlink similar to the example below would be really helpful.

ie: http://client16.addonlivesupport.com/operator.php?id=999999

Does this exist and if not, can we pay to have it implemented for us?

Hi Doug,

It' been a while since was doing addonLiveSupport beta testing but to the best of my knowledge there is no RAC. I doubt you wouldn't have to pay for such a feature either. If it can be done it might be included in a future release.

It may be a "show stopper" for us, simply because there's no place for us to put the Operator Panel on our site that isn't in a location that potentially can be closed by an operator by switching to another PHP page in vBulletin. As soon as they do that, it crashes the entire environment and wants to send an error notice to Microsoft or Apple (if using Safari).

So, if folks who are designated operators could simply open up the operater function, much like you do with the "test" function in the control panel, independent of the web site, I don't think there would be any problems because it would be the ONLY thing running on a "tab" of a browser.

Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait for another release, of failing that, figure out how to "rig" something as a work-a-round.

We're using v4.04 of vBulletin and FireFox 3.6.8 and we can't get this to execute properly from the AdminCP screen. We get the error message:

Click the 'Continue' button to access your AddonChat account control panel.

If you have problems accessing the account control panel from this page, please ensure that your Account Settings have been set properly.

We are able to go to our account on the addoninteractive and access it fine from there ...
